Teacher 2010

Overall 3353 teachers participated in this project resulting in data flowing in from 2783 school teachers of 148 schools and 570 nurses of 100 kindergartens in March 2010. Compared to earlier studies, data collected with diary methods allowed a more detailed analysis of teachers’ work-structure and also gave an opportunity to shed light on not yet researched segments of their work such as education related activities outside classroom, structure of classroom and out of classroom teaching, after-school professional activities etc..
The project was ordered by the Hungarian Ministry of Education and the Democratic Union of Teachers.

English version of the Executive Summary is available here.
